ABOUT ME

My name is Holly and I am a violin and piano teacher living in Standish, near Wigan.

After completing my training at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Department, I continued my academic studies at Lancaster University, securing a BA (Hons) in Music. I then went on to gain a Distinction in my MA Degree in journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, in which I specialised in creating a music education magazine for children.

Over the years, I've performed with a number of orchestras across the North West and have gained invaluable experience teaching students of all ages. Meanwhile, my work as a journalist has led me to interview and critique some of the industry’s most celebrated artists.

My unique teaching philosophy promises to deliver fun, engaging lessons that offer a holistic approach to instrumental lessons.
